Anytown Auto Sales was founded by Rod Wheeler in 1997. As a child, Rod spent his days watching his father rebuild classic cars. It was during this time that Rod learned the value of every automobile, and learned how the right care and knowledge could extend the life and performance of any car or truck. When Rod graduated high school he decided to enter Anytown Tech, where he learned how to use computer based diagnostic tools to enhance his deep knowledge of automobile engines. Although Rod was learning the most advanced techniques in auto repair, he never forgot the lessons he learned from his father all those years ago. His father used to repair and restore cars for friends and neighbors; asking for little compensation in return. Rod never forgot the gratitude of those his father helped. He never forgot the warm feeling he felt every time his father would deliver a restored vehicle to someone who couldn't afford a new one. Rod was determined to honor his father by opening a business that would truly offer value to the community. He promised himself to always provide value and outstanding service, regardless of how large his business grew.
Rod opened Anytown Auto Sales in 1997 on a small lot on the outskirts of Anytown. Word of great deals and outstanding service quickly spread throughout the region. Anytown Auto soon ran out of room for its growing inventory and had to find a larger facility that would allow it to continue growing.
It was the summer of 2000 when Anytown Auto opened the doors of its supercenter in the heart of downtown Anytown. The new state of the art facility boasts eight service bays, a well stocked auto parts department, and of course an enormous inventory of pre-owned and overstocked vehicles. No need to run all over town to find the right vehicle. Anytown carries all makes and models under one roof.
